Haii Lovebuggs!!~ it's me LisasΒ #NhanBae your California-grown healer & yoga witch.
I want to share a little about my relationship with cannabis.Β I have been a cannabis advocate for ~15 years.Β
I first learned about the endocannabinoid system and how our bodies have cannabinoid receptors while I was a freshman studying at UC Berkeley. Obvi much right?
I took a course on drugs and the brain, in which we studied in details the pharmacology, chemistry, psychological effects, and botany of the plant cannabis; but CBD was not well researched yet at the time.
Shortly after graduating from college, while I was living in San Francisco, I was offered a homemade CBD topical rub by an elder pot grower from the 1960s. It was the first time I learned about CBD and its benefits for pain and how certain cannabis strains help alleviate anxiety.
I can’t believe that was ~10 years ago and how far we have come as a society to have access to the plant medicine for healing. Most importantly, I’m beyond ecstatic about this shiftβ€”it’s an exciting time to be alive, witnessing the cannabis homecoming!
Sending love and consciousness,
Xx🌱🌟🌿 #NhanBae
